Job Description:
We are a Pediatric Neurology office in Nassau County seeking experienced receptionists/Front office support staff at our Plainview office.
We are seeking candidates who have exceptional customer service skills to greet, check-in, and assist our patients.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Greeting patients, Checking in and out Collecting copays and balances Answering phones Scheduling appointments Patient demographic entry Making sure waiting area and exam rooms are presentable Checking and/or obtaining medical authorizations for patients Filing Job Requirements:
Knowledge of EHR systems.
Knowledge of medical and medical insurance terminology.
Current available shifts:
Monday-Thursday afternoon/evening shift.
(3-4 days, possible 1-2 Saturday day shift).
