To continue in achieving this end and to support the credit union's continuous growth, we are seeking a dynamic and pleasant Teller-Floater to support our members at our Plainview and Mineola branches.
The Teller's Responsibilities and Duties will include:
Responding to members and assisting in the processing of various financial transactions.
Processing account transactions, issuing bank checks.
Ordering/shipping currency and coin.
Proving the vault, ATM and coin counting machine daily.
Working collaboratively with other staff members, assisting others as needed.
Being committed to success! Qualifications and Skills required for the Teller position are:
A minimum of 3 months of previous relevant work experience.
Previous experience at a credit union is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism and tact as this position interfaces with internal staff and members.
Great communication skills as this position will be required to explain complex financial issues in understandable terms.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
