Construction Operations Manager Role Eagle Rock Properties is currently seeking a Construction Operations Manager to join our growing organization.
Standardize/Manage overall Processes and select Projects across our Northeast / Mid-Atlantic Multifamily Portfolio.
As a Construction Operations Manager, you will support a construction management and asset management team to standardize and streamline our construction processes to help deliver capital projects.
You will act as a liaison between investment management and construction management in an institutional, vertically integrated firm to assist the timely and efficient deployment of construction and renovation projects.
You will interact with our construction team and vendors to develop and standardize RFP's, level bids, generate and negotiate contracts, manage project related documentation, develop scope and schedule of projects, regularly follow up with contractors and provide regular updates to the asset and investment management team.
You will ensure processes are being followed to deliver consistent, timely, high quality work meeting project requirements in a cost-effective way.
You will also be able to assist in managing projects of varying sizes.

Before you apply it's worth knowing what we're looking for:
Education and experience Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business or Accounting preferred.
(5+) years of experience related to construction project management is preferred, but experience supporting commercial real estate professionals in any sector is a plus.
Experience in Construction, Project Management or previous real estate support roles for project managers, preferred.
Soft skills for success - Being organized, process-oriented, collaborative, accountable, and team driven.
Strong organization and verbal /written communication skills.
Forward thinking and consistently demonstrating initiative to improve processes.
Proactively collaborate with internal and external team members and stakeholders to ensure critical path items continue to move forward.
Basic Job Duties Identify best practices, process improvements and opportunities to support project delivery and operations.
Initiate projects through RFP development and standardization, bid leveling and generation of contracts and schedules.
Ensure adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to fees and process.
Review and processing of project budgets, vendor proposals, change orders, and invoices.
Drive the delivery of construction related projects.
Use and apply all project management technology as required for assigned projects.
Support assigned projects throughout the project's lifecycle with a focus on data accuracy.
Attend program and project calls to support assigned projects.
Location:
Plainview, NY with potential occasional travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
