resort style community located in Plainview, NY.
Candidates with beginner to intermediate maintenance skills are welcome to apply:
Event Assistance:
o Lifting and moving 60-inch round ballroom tables o Rearrange ballroom chairs for lectures and presentations o Move and stack pool lounge chairs o Moving and set up of light and sound system o Maintain restroom cleanliness during event (restock hand towels, toilet paper, and soap) o Assist with event breakdown/clean up (Example:
chairs, tables, table linens, garbage removal, and sweeping) Maintenance needs of Clubhouse:
If there are no events scheduled on day of shift, light maintenance will be required in the Clubhouse.
Tasks may include:
o Removal of garbage from Clubhouse o Cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs where needed o Maintain pool deck layout of chairs, umbrellas, and tables o Assist concierge with physical tasks such as setting up bridge tables & placing games on clubhouse lawn o Assist with water cooler for Tennis, Pickleball, and Bocce Tournaments and light maintenance of the courts o Assist the maintenance team with work orders such as adjusting wind screens, adjusting nets, and refreshing paint lines on Bocce court.
o Fill in if/when the maintenance team is short handed o Assist Pool deck general needs o During the winter, salt icy areas around Clubhouse o Able to lift 50lbs 20-35 hours a week, depends on event need.
Weekend's mandatory, especially during the Summer Months.
