Project / Product Manager - Dental Market
As part of the US Repair Business Group, this position willcollaborate with a wide variety of functional areas to manage and support allphases of marketing and product development for the global handpiece and smallequipment portfolio; including sourcing, pricing, sales, marketing, packaging,performance management, product specifications, quality assurance andregulatory compliance. The position willalso work closely with our internal handpiece manufacturing vertical to achievebest in class product at the highest possible margins.
Support the development and maintenance of the Henry Scheinprivate brand handpiece & small equipment portfolio. Work with the Global HP & SE SolutionsGroup and the various corporate sales & marketing teams to determine newprivate brand opportunities. Developformal protocol & processes to assist with the development and go to marketstrategies of the private brand lines.
Execute on all of the steps involved in bringing a newproduct to market or updating an existing product. Develop a plan for each product whichincludes product requirements and specifications, costing and pricinginformation, demand quantities, sourcing alternatives, quality assurancetesting, packaging, instructions for use (IFU) and Regulatory and contractrequirements.
Support product development by managing the new item codeprocess through the HS Vendor Information Portal, other business systems withinthe group and updates to product schedules in Private Brand contracts.
Maintain private brand sale reports by product categories,sales division and supplier. Whereapplicable, establish and administer vendor rebate programs and track resultson a quarterly basis.
Develop and implement project management tools, documentationand metrics for product development projects.
Monitor Henry Schein's performance within the private brandhandpiece and small equipment categories.
Collaborate & Coordinate with the various departmentsand vendor partners to make sure all tasks required for completion are beingexecuted on.
Participate in special projects and performs other duties asrequired

Meetingcompany standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on anongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is incompliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWideBusiness Standards.
Adheringto Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards ofworkplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Required Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business orEngineering), MBA preferred.
Experience with product development, project management,sourcing and vendor negotiations.
Must have well-developed interpersonal and human relationsskills in dealing with a wide variety of people. Strong problem solving skillsneeded. Strong technical backgroundpreferred. Ability to speak multiple languages a plus.
